We are looking for an experienced sales professional to develop and sell advertising and marketing campaigns to new and existing clients in the Midwest territory. Responsibilities include soliciting new business through prospecting and cold calling, managing and growing existing accounts, identifying clients’ advertising needs and developing and presenting customized solutions to meet those needs. This individual will also be held accountable for achieving sales budgets and collecting on the accounts.

Contact prospective agencies and brands to sell media for broadcast network (EstrellaTV) and digital content network (Fenomeno Studios).
Maintain account lists and develop new business.
Prepare promotional plans, sales literature, and advertising presentations.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients by providing top quality service.
Communicate with other internal departments to assure quality service in placing and delivering orders.
Ability to effectively present sales materials to agency investment/planning teams and client directy.
Responsible for exceeding sales budget and collection of sold accounts.
Attend sales meetings, client presentations and industry events.
Travel within the mid-west territory.

They must be self-motivated, goal driven and creative, with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. All employees are expected to bring a positive attitude to the work place and be cheerful, cooperative and productive. In addition, the right candidate must have:
Minimum five years experience in television sales/marketing
Must also have basic knowledge of MS office products, i.e., MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel
Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task and work in a high pressure fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
Must be willing to work in Chicago, Illinois area. [no relocations]
Must be willing to work long hours, holidays and weekends on short notice.
Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background investigation.
Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
Must possess valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Must be 18 years or older.
